We contacted Susan with a professional development idea for our area teachers. She was extremely flexible as we explained our needs, available facilities, and technology. The best characteristic about Susan is her ability to juxtapose the innovative content with the needs of the participants. Susan understands the importance of teachers being able to confidently implement these new concepts in the classroom - without her present. She allowed participants to voice their needs and then addressed them to ensure effective professional development. She must be doing something right, participants have expressed interest in a return visit for the next level of Camp TechTerra. We are looking forward to another exciting adventure!
Shelli Sharber, Ph.D and Mark Jones, Ph.D Department of Education East Central University I highly recommend for teachers, teacher assistants and administrators enroll in one of Susan Well's hands-on technology workshops. Susan is very skillful at differentiating her active engagement sessions for the individuals in her sessions. I recently participated in a 1.5 day workshop where she introduced not only rich background knowledge regarding 21st century skills and pedagogy, but also allowed those present to participate actively in the use of various apps, creation of products and interaction with various robotics and coding activities. I left the training feeling that I gained many updates, enriched my knowledge and developed further some of my novice skills. The sessions serve to whet the curious appetite for a deeper dive with technology for the classroom. Excellent level -!: combinations of engagement and theories!

The most forward thinking educator I've had the privilege to work with in 15 years of public education!" Susan Wells has been leading by example for more than a decade in the field of educational technology. Starting with handheld computer devices, advancing to coding, and finally merging the digital world with the physical, Susan Wells truly understands what our students need to know and how to get them there in a fun and engaging manner. Wells teaches not only the technology, but also the understanding and ethics needed to excel in the digital age. She is a true pioneer in educational technology!
Susan and her team at TechTerra Education are outstanding educators and teacher trainers. We worked with TechTerra over the course of several months and took away valuable and actionable ideas. We've since implemented these ideas into our pre-k and kindergarten curriculums. Our biggest challenge in integrating edtech tools and making as a preschool & kindergarten is that many educational tools and readily-available resources are geared towards older children. But Susan was able to tailor her training sessions to focus on our age group specifically. We not only learned how to use several innovative educational tools in the market, we learned exactly how to integrate them in our early childhood classrooms. We would love to work with Susan and TechTerra again in the future.
